Overview
*** References 192940 and 192945 do not have a viewing window ***Controlled-tightening torque wrench made from chrome vanadium steel, with general high-hardness heat treatment, flat steel tube shaft and non-slip ergonomic handle.
Head and internal mechanism made from chrome vanadium steel, with tightening direction reverser and socket ejector. Square drive with socket retaining ball.
Flat tube for access to tight or confined spaces.
Non-slip ergonomic handle with lever to lock the desired torque setting.
Viewing window with torque scale in N.m and Lb.ft.
Torque accuracy of +/-3%. The audible signal is only produced when tightening clockwise.
Torque is set by rotating the wheel on the handle, checking the value in the window, then locking the setting with the handle's safety catch.
When tightening, once the desired force is reached, the wrench gives an audible signal (click) and a vibration. At that point tightening is not disabled, so you can keep tightening. The signal is only given when tightening clockwise.
With a vernier scale for precise adjustment of the desired torque.
The wrench complies with DIN6789 and comes with a calibration certificate and an individual serial number.
Supplied in an individual case with instructions for use and certificate.
The wrench should be recalibrated every 5,000 uses or 12 months.
Mechanism repair kit available.
Very useful for tightening on bicycles and motorcycles, and for low-torque tightening applications.
Especially useful for repairs, vehicle workshops, bicycles, motorbikes, etc.
