Overview
Adjustable Wrench with Centre Wheel. Ratchet system for tightening without releasing the nut.Made of chrome-vanadium steel, giving it hardness and a long service life. Handle and movable jaw forged from a single piece. It has also been heat-treated by quenching and tempering, which increases its hardness and strength, while also allowing elasticity and preventing cracks under heavy loads.
The surface has a chrome treatment that prevents oxidation and extends service life, while also preventing the rounding of workpieces.
The ergonomic plastic-coated handle increases sturdiness and strength, allowing very significant torque to be applied.
The jaws are also heat-treated and have an angle for gripping the workpiece, allowing a more ergonomic posture and higher torque. These jaws have a special polish that allows sliding in confined areas. The head profile is narrower to access reduced spaces.
The adjustment wheel is high precision, and the mechanism maintains the same opening despite high tightening forces being applied. This wheel allows the opening to be adjusted very precisely, and also changed easily. The wheel rotates clockwise.
The maximum opening of the jaws exceeds the minimums required by the DIN3117 standard.
The head is marked in millimetres so the opening can be pre-set.
The ratchet system consists of a cam that switches from normal use to ratchet use, allowing tightening to continue without having to separate the wrench from the nut and reposition it. This therefore allows faster tightening, especially in confined spaces where the tightening stroke is short.
Very suitable for industry, plumbing, maintenance departments, mechanics, automotive workshops, vehicle repair or household repairs, for both professional and domestic use.
Technical characteristics
- Wrench type:
- Dual function. Can be used as a traditional adjustable wrench or as an adjustable ratchet wrench
- Maximum jaw opening (mm):
- 29 ((20% above standard)
- Jaw depth (mm):
- 26
- Ratchet operation:
- To use as a ratchet wrench, turn the button in the centre of the wrench to the right. For traditional use, turn it to the left. Once the ratchet function is selected, use it like any ratchet wrench: clockwise movement will apply tension, and counter-clockwise movement will cause the mechanism to slip. For left-hand tightening, turn the ratchet wrench over.
- Functionality:
- Ideal for plumbing, automotive, installation and gas maintenance work, and, thanks to its ratchet function, for repetitive tasks and work in very tight spaces, since the ratchet system means the wrench does not need to be removed. A single positioning is enough.
- For hexagon-head screws (metric):
- M1 - M18
- For hexagon-head screws (SAE):
- W1/8" - W5/8"
- Head angle:
- 15° (the arrow on the grey hole in the handle indicates the tightening direction)
- Head graduated in millimetres:
- Yes. Millimetre-graduated area on the base and position arrow on the moving jaw.
- Wheel type:
- Central knurled wheel
- Handle type:
- Ergonomic handle that provides a very comfortable fit in the hand and a very soft feel.
- Handle material:
- Handle covered with non-slip rubber
- Hole for hang:
- Hole at the end of the wrench for hanging
Finishes
- Color:
- Grey and black handle
- Material:
- Chrome vanadium steel
- Finish:
- Chrome-plated body and polished head
Certifications
- Certification:
- DIN 3117
