Data sheet
Overview
Polyester case with zip, containing 5 files with plastic handles with different cutting edges.A flat file, a half-round file, a round file, a square file and a triangular file. They are all 200 mm long.
The files are made of high-carbon steel, which gives them an extra hard blade surface.
The metal part is hardened by tempering the surface that will be in contact with the wood to a hardness of 60 HRC. The connection between handle and blade has a hardness of 25 HRC to prevent breakage. The surface of the blade is tapered. This gives it extra hardness for working on wood and plastic.
The number of teeth on the blade depends on the type of file. In this case, the fine-toothed files have 14 teeth per 10 mm.
The handles are ergonomically shaped with a hanging hole.
These files are highly recommended for carpentry.
Due to the materials used and the way they are manufactured, they have a very long service life and a very high wood cutting precision.
They can be re-sharpened.
