    • Overview

    Set of 5 plastic-handled files with different edges.

    One flat file, one half-round file, one round file, one square file and one triangular file. All 200 mm long. The files are made from high-carbon steel, allowing them to reach high surface hardness in the working areas.

    The metal part is hardened by tempering in the areas that come into contact with wood, reaching a hardness of HRC60. The joints between handle and blade have a hardness of HRC25 to prevent breakage. The surface of the blade is ground. This gives it a very high hardness for working wood and plastic.

    The number of teeth on the blade depends on the file's category. In the case of these files, with a medium-fine cut, they have 14 teeth per 10 mm. The handles are ergonomic, with a hole for hanging. These files, or rasps, are highly recommended for carpentry.

    Thanks to their materials and manufacture, they have a very long service life, and very high wood-cutting precision. They can be resharpened.
