Alyco's spark-proof tools are designed for environments where the use of steel tools is not recommended due to their tendency to generate sparks that can cause fires or explosions. Tools made of non-ferrous materials reduce the risk of flammable sparks, as well as featuring several special anti-magnetic safety and corrosion resistance features. The tools in this range are manufactured according to international processing safety standards certified by the BAM and FM institutes and follow international standards for dimensions, cutting capacity and hardness.

Instructions for use: lacking the hardness of conventional tools, they must be used with special care, especially when it comes to type of use and exposure temperature. They will only be replaced if they don’t exceed the minimum hardness (Al-Br 30 Hrc, Cu-be 40 Hrc). Tools with more than 65% copper content shouldn’t be used in contact with acetylene because of their explosive capacity.
